I began cycling in the middle of 2021. From my experience, I found that it is one of the best ways to practice mindfulness. It also helps improve breathing, and immunity, and reduces weight, stress, and more.

It is a pleasure to see the sunrise, feel the breeze against my face, hear birds chirping, and take in the beauty of nature. I feel grateful for being in the present and spending each minute enjoying my surroundings.

I have ridden bikes and cars, but I have never felt the same as what I have experienced from cycling.

Each day I feel fresh and happy staying in the present.

Cycling has already helped me in a variety of ways, including weight loss, increased energy, motivation, and mindfulness. But I had not done any riding in the previous two months.

So, last Saturday, I decided to go cycling again. To measure my results, I always use my Apple Watch integrated with Strava.

I rode 10 kilometers and came home. I checked Strava to measure the results and surprisingly, it asked me β€” do you want to check your overall result for 2021?

When I saw the report, I was astonished. In 38 days, I have traveled 647 kilometers. I was in shock for a bit. The result made me happy and motivated me to keep pushing my limits.

When I started cycling, my initial goal was to complete 50 kilometers per week. Either I would go for 10 kilometers per day, or I would complete my goal in a day. Now, looking at the result urges me to do more.

Cycling has helped me a lot in my personal and professional life. In my personal life, it helped me reduce my weight and get in shape. In professional life β€” it helps me stay motivated, focused, and mindful.

As said, cycling is one of the best ways to practice mindfulness.
