Are design institutes teaching you the practical skills needed to succeed in the real world?

--

The majority of what design institutes and courses teach is to introduce the design process and principles.

The curriculum's are not generally intended to teach hard design skills, but students do receive a stronger theoretical foundation.

You need to practice and try it yourself, which is an important aspect to consider when learning anything in this world.

If you are taught something, you must examine it, understand it, and then apply it to your work.

Time and persistence are required to develop skills. Don’t expect to be perfect if you’re just starting out.

Aim to gain extensive knowledge in a few areas and improve your skill sets for your personal growth.
